ALTEX Packaging, Inc. was established in 1988 by Randall Rigsby in Anniston, Alabama. Randall brokered corrugated boxes to many businesses in the area before deciding to lease 20,000 square feet and install the equipment necessary to manufacture his own corrugated products.

With his wife keeping the books and answering the phones and his dad making the deliveries, ALTEX Packaging grew at a steady pace by focusing on customer service and quality. ALTEX Packaging consistently beat normal industry lead times in quoting, design and delivery.

ALTEX Packaging continues to improve on service and quality. With the addition of another manufacturing plant and a full time designer, production has more than doubled over the last 3 years.

Now, ALTEX Packaging has more than 50 associates in 4 locations totaling over 120,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space and our service area has expanded to the 3 states surrounding Alabama.
